House of Traditional Ethnic Women Clothing

Daman Choli was started by Inderpal Sarawat and Pratibha Sarawat in a small room of their house in Green Park in 1988. It is a family run business setup wherein their daughter (Supriya) and son (Anmol) are also part of the business setup. The entire enterprise is home based with a team of in house tailors and a basement being used as an outlet.

Daman Choli offers eye catching ethnic kurtas in Cotton Handblock Prints in Bagh, Ajrakh, Sanganeri, Indigo and Dabu Prints and in Cotton Tussar and Pochampally Ikat.

    This is the place to shop for some really nice cotton fabric kurtas in ikkat, printed cotton and handloom in nice summery colours. Their stitching is neat and their products last for years with some good handling on your part. I absolutely reccomend this place.

My heart melted upon the warmest greeting I have received upon entering a family’s home for the first time. I was truly and graciously welcomed. The smiles were genuine and the care for us, extraordinary. Curiosity led me to the outlet downstairs where hand crafted one of one of a kind magical pieces are created. The artistry in the fabric is a feast for the eyes… vibrant colors, artisanal prints and rich woven patterns. The fabrics chosen for the garments and bed sheets/ blankets compliment and highlight the mastery and exquisite work of the Rajasthani craftsmanship. The art produced by the team at Daman Choli is as refined as the family itself. Stop by for an adventure and walk out with a treasure.
